Race Name: Bb Be Cool (Nickname "Mack")

8 year old stud dog who is done with his "daddy duties".  His name is Bb Be Cool (Nickname "Mack").  From what I hear, he's got an awesome personality... He is located in Tampa area.

He is cat and small dog safe.  His favorite treat is a twinkie in the morning.

Race Name: Mount Rainier
Color:  Black
Whelped:  8/5/99
She is a tiny girl, very thin.  Very lovable.
Tattoo: 89E     8404

Notes from foster home for both Ambush and Rainier:
"Both dogs lived with a cat.  Could be left alone for about 8 hours.  They were partitioned off in a room when alone.  Both can be hugged around the neck and love kisses.  They enjoy laying on dog beds, blankets or the carpet but have not tried to get up on the furniture or bed.  Neither shows signs of sleep startle.  When you eat, they are right there hoping to get some.  They dog love treats of any kind!   Both were bathed, nails clipped and ears cleaned. They are so good and get along excellent with my two."

Racing name, Fly Bye Kobe B, now Tuff. Born 2002.  He is not cat safe but is a handsome friendly boy. Pedigree data

Winnie is a truly awesome greyhound. She is so full of life and will make a fantastic companion.

Winnie retired from a breeding farm at the end of June and is doing well in her foster home. As you can see from her standing picture, her left rear leg had a break that was not properly cared for during her racing career. This has not slowed her down and her nickname is "Goofball" because she is so endearing and interested in her new surroundings.

Stay tuned for updates from the vet as we plan to x-ray her leg and determine the best course of action for this very special girl. If you would like to make a donation towards her care, please use paypal or send us an email for the check address.

Jawa Whelton, now Ellie

Ellie is a beautiful red fawn who ran and won a lot of races. She loves people and her new freedom but is still not good with small animals and cats. She would love to spend her day by her person's side and loves to go walking.  Needs a patient person to bring the best out of her.

Right ear 126/left ear 10305. Red fawn 9years old.

Rattle my Cage, now Rachel

Rachel is a petite girl only 5 years old. She came from Ireland and has never raced or had pups due to a malformed leg. It doesn't seem to bother her but we will have it checked out. Rachel is not good with cats and needs to be small dog checked but she is quiet and bonds easily with people.

Left ear VMJ/Right ear EX. Born July 17 2006

Meadow is 10 years old, very outgoing and sweet. Meadow does not act her age at all and was
busy doing figure-8's in her pen to show me how fast she still is ;)
Meadow does have an issue with one of her rear feet (picture attached), but she is not lame.

Meadow, DOB 6/2001, black/white female

UPDATE: Meadow has undergone a toe amputation and is healing. She retains her upbeat attitude even though she is hurting right now. Unfortunately she is not good with small animals.  She SITS and Barks!!! Very unique personality but extremely loveable and sweet. She deserves the best and the new family would be richly rewarded by her sweet nature.

They Sailed the Ocean

Greyhounds came to the New World in 1493 on Columbus' second expedition.

A Quiet Place

Baby or dog gates are an inexpensive and very useful way to keep your newly adopted Greyhound confined to a "dog proofed" safe area or room of your home during the house breaking period or while you are temporarily away from the home.

We can use your donation to help offset our costs of taking care of the dogs.
